Like many other Vietnamese students, in the IELTS test, I worried about speaking and listening section of the test. I realized that, to be good in English I need a daily contact with my lessons and practice it. I started with listening to BBC radio, watching English TV channels, studying online. Have you noticed our educational system? When we study English in high school, we mainly study grammar. So, it’s like with many other students, I used to worry about my English skills, especially about listening and speaking skills. Then, I decided to spend more time for practice English. I attended some English courses but I didn’t develop my English. I think my method in studying English hasn’t been right. My new teacher always advises me that the best way to develop English communication skills is to practice a lot. Hi, Mr. Richard! Two months ago, I received my IELTS result with 6.5 band score. After I studied with my new teacher, it was unbelievably amazing! So nice to study with him! Before, I studied with my VN teacher and I felt it was so strange when I compared my experience with a foreign teacher. Now, I feel better with my English language.
